Trading first as Grand Designs and then as Redback Graphix the focus of Callaghan’s work during this period was on commissioned work ranging from book covers through trade union campaign work to ‘advertorial’ work for government instrumentalities such as the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Much of this work was in the form of offset posters. The work included livery, bumper stickers, books covers. Always the collaborator Michael Callaghan produced much of this work in association with Greg McLachlan. A small selection of the output is included here.
